A black and white Victorian-era illustration of a black cat is sealed with resin in a 20mm setting and hangs with a vintage skeleton key on an XL swivel lobster clasp. Due to the nature of vintage materials, the keys will vary from those pictured. The ball chain (lead-free, nickel-free) measures 34 inches long and is available in antiqued silver-plated and antiqued brass-plated.
Christine scans each image using her collection of vintage ephemera and prints the images on archival paper. She then hand-pours the resin which cures for 72 hours, making it water-resistant and lighter than a glass cabochon, and less likely to crack than glass or plastic. Metal is plated brass alloy (lead-free and nickel-free) and not suitable for bathing or swimming.
