The image is printed on archival paper and sealed with non-toxic art resin in stainless steel settings with hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel posts.
Resin is water-resistant, lighter than a glass cabochon, and less likely to crack than glass or plastic, but not suitable for bathing or swimming.
