Carry a piece of history with you as a reminder of your travels or your home state with the Washington State Vintage Map Keychain. A digital image of Washington State from the May 1942 National Geographic Map of North America is sealed with resin in a 1-inch round antiqued brass-plated setting with a 1.25-inch split ring.
Christine scans the map from her extensive collection of vintage gas station maps and atlases, then prints the images on archival paper. She then hand-pours the resin which cures for 72 hours, making it water-resistant and lighter than a glass cabochon, and less likely to crack than glass or plastic. Metal is plated brass alloy (lead-free and nickel-free) and not suitable for bathing or swimming.
